Feeders:

People spend hours enjoying the antics of hummingbirds at our lovely feeders. These feeders are handcrafted from premium grade solid copper in Arizona, USA. The timeless beauty of copper has always been associated with quality, strength and durability. Every feeder is a unique work of art created for your garden or patio. Each tube holder is hand-shaped to the exacting fit of the glass nectar feeding tube and then individually assembled onto the hand-shaped stem. Because each piece is individually hand-crafted, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. Each piece will continue to be "unique and one-of-a-kind." The subtle variations in shape and color only add to their value.

The solid copper feeders will grow more beautiful each year... time and the elements will continue as it ages. First, it will change from it's natural bright copper color, then into a reddish-brown and eventually develop into a verdigris blue-green patina (just like the Statue of Liberty!).

All of the glass feeding tubes come complete with rubber stoppers for ease of refilling. The clear glass nectar feeding tubes makes it easy to clean, prevents discoloration and allows you to actually see the humming bird lick the nectar from the tube as they drink.

The idea behind this exclusive design is to provide the humming birds with an endless supply of replenishment tubes, filled and ready to go in the refrigerator. That way when one tube is empty, you exchange it with a full tube of fresh nectar. No need to refill when one tube is empty, you exchange it with a full tube of fresh nectar. No need to refill one tube at a time. When your back-up tubes are all empty, clean buy placing all the empty tubes in a microwaveable cup filled with water. Add one-fourth teaspoon of white vinegar and microwave for one minute.

Adjust the tubes slightly above horizontal (the air bubble is closest to the rubber stopper) when the feeder is hanging so the hummingbird's tongue can reach the bottom of the tubes. The safest, purest nectar you can prepare is: Mix 3 parts water with 1 part white table sugar (eg: 1 cup water to 1/3 cup of sugar), boil, stir until dissolved. Store the extra nectar, bottled in your fridge. Please no food coloring. Bacteria and mold are deadly to hummingbirds. Refresh nectar every 3-5 days with fresh from fridge, especially in warm weather.

Always remember to twist the tubes to the right going in and out of your feeder. Don't try to pull directly out. Before refilling your empty tube, you may want to run some warm water over the stopper before twisting the stopper out.

You will have happy and healthy hummingbirds with this program.

Kuddos from a Customer:

A customer recently emailed the lovely bird pictures in the right hand column. Thank you! Here is her kind comment, "Your feeders are the best! I have never had such success with hummers before. These are artificial flowers as you suggested. Stop by my blog to see more and read the comments (click each image to a different post/comments)."
Note the hummer's tongue in the middle pic in the collage.

Debby,

Barb just loves your/her Travis painting. She kept repeating phrases like, incredible, amazing, so talented, so detailed, look at those wrinkles, look at those eyes, look at those whiskers, how does she do that. She took "Travis" to work and showed him off the very next day. Now he is proudly setting on our china cabinet so all can enjoy. He is priceless.

Thanks again from both of us. Have a great weekend.
